Workshop Outline (75 minutes)
- Intro to mindfulness: mindfulness vs. meditation, the science of meditation, meditation and your nervous system, the body-mind-breath connection
- Practice 3 meditations to immediately reduce anxiety, self-soothe, and clear the mind
- Get an overview of different apps / courses / teachers to build a practice
- Meet others interested in deepening their understanding of their mind
- Bring any and all questions about meditation, mindfulness, and comtemplative practice :)
